Of spirituality, "everything," and meditation

A friend of mine has chosen to go down the path of spirituality. He
thinks of spirituality as a science, and of the guru as a
teacher--which is what the term really means in Hindi. He sometimes
explains his decision by saying that popular science is unable to answer
all of his questions. No one can disagree with that. But can science
ever explain "everything?" I say, no.
