I've been wanting to install Linux on my office machine for a while. Today I set out to shrink my 34 GB NTFS partition using Partition Magic (PM). All was going well when suddenly PM gave an error saying, “file attribute yadda yadda”. That was the end of my D drive. Some personal data lost, some code lost, and I'll have to setup a lot of things all over again. That sucks!
