Sambar separate

When the guy at the counter goes, “Sambaraa?” (with a long trailing 'aa' sound), you're supposed to say yes if you want the idli dipped in the sambar, and separate if you want the sambar separate. Any other response will invoke undefined behaviour. I've learnt this the hard way (trial and error). HTH.
PS: I like sambar separate.
